I really enjoyed this movie. Got totally hooked! The actors and story line was great!

Not much inappropriate content. Little talk of murder and some kissing. Parent of a year-old Written by Nicholas H. September 27, Not a prude here - but almost every scene had a crass sexual reference or joke - beware for the younger kids who aren't ready for this. Further, the female roles are generally farcical caricatures and shallow stereotypes.

There is growth and empowerment as the movie progresses, so teaching moments do exist, but there are far more negative stereotypes than positive ones overall.

In short, I am a little surprised by the 4 star review and the age classification from Common Sense on this one. Adult Written by emiliawil1 September 20, Watched this the other day. Many reviews state it may be far too sexual for little ones.

The lap dance is only mentioned for 5 seconds. The sperm donor does not go into detail and the scene is very well made - meaning no one in the classroom laughs. Which is a very good message as it should be normalised talking about these things without laughing or making a mockery. With the sexual harassment, if you believe your child is alright with the scene then go ahead! Elle handles the situation perfectly and is a role model and shows you how to handle this. However there is a lot of swearing.

Adult Written by Themomoftheyearkaren June 27, Amazing Thai is great in love this movie. Adult Written by Lewis2a August 14, Funny, great film This film is all about feminism, being blonde, and being able to look good and be smart at the same time.

I love the fact that my kid has watched it, because I think it has great role models, and a great message. Most of the characters end up being really lovely, and the ex-boyfriend gets a terrible end. The whole film is super funny with only a few sex references and a little language! Definitely let your kid watch! Parent of a year-old Written by kjoelle March 22, Great movie and fantastic message This movie breaks many stereotypes, and even though there may be a few questionable parts, it will pass over most kids head.

Overall great movie that is worth the watch! Adult Written by J Westfall March 17, Alright if your child is mature The movie itself is really only alright. Some sexual content may raise some eyebrows like talking about lap dances. It has a lot of stereotypes in the movie like saying that all blondes are dumb.

They talk about going from a size six to size four like they lost a ton of weight. Elle Woods has a lot of people be mean to her and having children watch this may make them want to act like them. But in the end Elle becomes a positive role model saying that you can do anything no matter what you background.

This title contains: Positive role models. Adult Written by erfx February 27, Elle Woods has literally been my role model of female success through college, teaching me that I have all the power in myself to achieve my goals. Parent of a year-old Written by Buffy Grayson December 27, Legally Blonde Legally Blonde is an iconic young adult film!

I thought it was great to be honest! I watched it when my daughter Rachel was born in Basically all the ones I love. There are some mild sex references and a bit of language but it's okay! Highly recommend this one! Parent Written by Krista B. January 18, I love this movie and so do my teens We watch this over and over together.
